Warehouse Level II - Order Fulfillment & Shipping

Responsibilities

• Printing picking sheets and reviewing orders for key shipping instructions.
• Pick inventory and ship orders to customers to meet a minimum goal of 175 shipments per day.
• Verify accuracy of items picked and pack items into boxes, using spacers and protective padding.
• Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
• Weigh shipping boxes, select freight method, affix shipping labels on packed cartons.
• Assemble packing boxes and materials in preparation for shipment.
• Restock inventory on shelves.
• Calculate freight quotes by determining the method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates.
• Prepare pallet shipments for tradeshows or customer demonstrations.
• Participate in product cycle counting.
• Enter and verify quantities in the warehouse.
• Assists with assemblies and returns as directed by manager and warehouse level III personnel.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, packing area, and workstations neat; maintaining a clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Maintain quality service by following organization standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in warehouse setting desirable but not required.
• Time management skills.
• Proficiency with computers and the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) is desirable.
• Commitment to learning and growing technical skills and knowledge.
• Adherence to safety protocols and company procedures.
