Warehouse Lead- Start time: 6:00 pm

Responsibilities

• Aid in running an efficient warehouse operation fulfilling operational and customer demand while meeting set targets.
• Ensure materials are delivered to production lines according to production schedules.
• Train new Warehouse operatives within their area of responsibility.
• Maintain accuracy of inventories in their area of responsibility.
• Record stock movements accurately and support organizing and participating in stock takes at regular intervals.

• Ensure accuracy and up-to-date status of any computerized or automated systems.
• Identify and recommend system improvements.
• Resolve issues or escalate them to a more senior level where necessary.
• Produce regular reports and statistics as needed.
• Maintain health and safety standards and conduct risk assessments.
• Ensure proper handling of products and materials in accordance with manual handling procedures.
• Store hazardous materials according to requirements.
• Ensure vehicles, machinery, and equipment are well-maintained and fit for purpose.
• Maintain a clean and tidy working environment to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure staff comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations and work safely.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in a warehouse or related field.
• Proven leadership experience in a warehouse setting.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to operate a forklift and electric pallet jack safely.
