Warehouse Lead (Retail Department) - 2nd Shift

About the role

The Warehouse team is seeking a 2nd Shift Warehouse Lead to assist with the coordination and monitoring of the daily operations of the Warehouse department by providing work leadership to the Warehouse team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise assigned team ensuring all employees are working safely and efficiently while staying on task
• Participate in daily shift meetings to share any pertinent information or issues between shifts, promoting interaction and communication between all three shifts and related departments
• Cookbook and assign all team members their daily tasks
• Be sure pickers and packers are accurate and productive
• Receive and appropriately react to all department related reports
• Email any and all necessary parties with regard to product and personnel issues
• Pack various products to order specifications
• Work as part of a team to ensure efficiency when processing orders
• Train new and existing team members on company and departmental policies and procedures, including safety protocols; enforce all company policies, procedures, and protocols
• Follow all safety and company procedures while performing work duties
• Perform other duties as assigned, both within and outside of the department

Qualifications

• Experience using an RF Scanner
• Strong knowledge of safety practices and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
• Adequate attention to detail to avoid shortages, delays, work stoppages, and other issues that lead to downtime or efficiency loss
• Dependable, with an excellent attendance record
• Able to stand for the duration of the shift; lift and move up to 20lbs
• Flexibility to work weekends and overtime, as required
• Epicor experience is a plus

Pay

Hourly rate starts at $22/hour depending on experience with a 2nd shift premium of $1/hour
