Warehouse Lead - Nights

Responsibilities

Lead and support the communication flow to load the finished product to the trailers and the preparation of documentation (bill of lading and invoice). Essential functions include:

• Ability to complete all essential functions of the Warehouse Associate position
• Leading a group of shipping and receiving team members
• Responsible for the communication flow to load the finished product to the trailers
• Communicating instructions to the equipment inside the warehouse
• Coordinating the location where each trailer will be loaded
• Preparing documentation to issue a purchase order (Bill of Lading and invoice)
• Communicating with carriers to ensure on-time and proper collection and/or loading of the finished product
• Reviewing operator and carrier line data in the Tracking Platform
• Ensuring that food safety practices and all applicable requirements of the SQF System are maintained
• Communicating any deviation, problem, and/or abnormality with the equipment, processes, and products

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include:

• 4 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment
• 4 years of experience in a position with experience managing people/projects (experience may include a combination of work experience and education)

Preferred qualifications include:

• 6 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment
• 6 years of experience working in a position with experience managing people/projects (experience may include a combination of work experience and education)

No traveling is required for this position.

Skills

Competencies include:

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Oracle
• Intermediate knowledge of storage systems
• Good verbal and written communication
• Ability to communicate with different levels of the organization
• Ability to resolve conflicts
• Ability to analyze information
