Warehouse Lead - Inbound

Responsibilities

Captures the attention and interest of Material Handlers to ensure efficient utilization of their time.

Collaborates with management to align the flow of products and ensures adherence to all safety protocols.

Monitors and enforces schedules and estimated labor hours to facilitate timely completion of daily tasks.

Reports on the compliance of assigned teams against operational standards and initiatives.

Participates in recommending Kaizen activities aimed at enhancing various aspects of the operation.

Oversees the work of a small number of employees in the designated warehouse area.

Carries out responsibilities in line with organizational policies and safety rules.

Manages team members to meet goals and performance standards.

Assigns and directs work flow and associates based on business needs.

Elevates and resolves complaints and minor issues with management assistance.

Requirements

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Two years' related experience preferred

Qualifications

Physical Demands:

• Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching
• Frequent physical activity involving bending, crouching, climbing, twisting, and balancing
• Frequent visual focus required for tasks such as reading labels, inspecting materials, and safely operating equipment
• Exposure to varying temperatures, noise, dust, odors, and moving machinery or vehicles (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills required
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment and reports hazards promptly
• Regular, punctual attendance and compliance with company safety policies; may include overtime or variable shifts
