Warehouse Lead - 3rd Shift

About the role

As a Warehouse Production Lead you perform supervisory and management responsibilities while also executing production unloading tasks. You distribute unloading assignments to handlers, coordinate unloading activities under the department manager’s direction, and complete administrative paperwork for daily reporting to the corporate office. You ensure compliance with all FHI policies and procedures.

This is a local, non-travel position.

Responsibilities

• Adapt to high-pressure situations and communicate effectively with other departments and customer service to meet customer demands.
• Safely and efficiently unload tractor trailers in a fast-paced environment.
• Operate a variety of forklifts to remove products from trailers.
• Break down pallets and restack cases onto new pallets (manual labor).
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience managing and leading a team.
• Leadership, organization, problem-solving, and technical skills to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with team members, other departments, and external stakeholders.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow directions and work respectfully in a team environment.
• Willingness to work the required schedule.

Work Environment

• Safety-sensitive position requiring constant alertness and safe work practices.
• Warehouse environment with extreme heat and cold temperatures.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift, walk, bend, twist, reach, push, and squat throughout the workday.
• Handle cases weighing 25 to 95 pounds and manage 50 to 200+ pallets daily.
• Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and alarms in moderate to loud environments.

Pay

Production Pay or $16.94/hour base rate, whichever is greater. Daily stipend allowance when performing lead duties.

Schedule

Full-time, permanent positions with various shift times available in different warehouse temperature environments.
