About the role

Retrieve and supply raw materials (resin, pallets, totes, etc.) for the production floor, ensuring the timely delivery of goods to the appropriate location. Scan and transport raw materials to the production floor and warehouse. If scanning is not operational, complete manual IT forms. Move excess raw material to the warehouse, weighing and scanning it into inventory while following F.I.F.O. inventory rotation rules.

Responsibilities

  • Scan raw materials for production use and return them to inventory locations.
  • Scan finished goods into inventory, wrap when required, and ensure proper storage and stacking.
  • Perform daily cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Participate in annual full cycle count and put-away/consolidation activities.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all materials and participate in the line clearance process.
  • Ensure product integrity is maintained at a high level.
  • Move clean scrap cap gaylords to the regrind area, accurately weigh and record scrap, and transport scrap boxes to the compactor.
  • Empty garbage containers when full.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety by sweeping, mopping floors, and ensuring pathways are clear.
  • Perform daily pre-use checks on powered industrial equipment and report unsafe conditions or near misses.
  • Report loss, damage, or discrepancies to supervising authorities and operate a manual pallet jack.
  • Pick and stage kits for shipping, ensuring all items are addressed and shipped to appropriate locations.
  • Firewall orders prior to shipping in accordance with the picking list and load shipments per the bill of lading.
  • Perform picking processes such as relabeling, changing packaging, or pallets as needed.
  • Support and maintain all company policies, including ISO/BRC Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, and standard work procedures.

Schedule

12-hour shift from 6:00 pm to 6:15 am on a 36/48 rotating schedule.

Pay

Starting pay ranges from $20.00 to $22.50 per hour, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. An additional $2 hourly shift differential is provided for night shifts.
