Warehouse Janitorial Associate

About the role

Meyer Distributing is a complete wholesale distributor serving dealers nationwide across automotive, RV/towing, outdoor living, marine, and more, with 130+ locations. Meyer Logistics, the transportation backbone of Meyer Distributing, operates a fleet of 500+ top-of-the-line trucks. The Warehouse Janitorial Associate is responsible for the general cleaning and upkeep of warehouse break rooms and restrooms.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Dust and wipe clean all furniture
• Perform detailed cleaning and sanitizing of restrooms and restock supplies
• Clean break rooms including microwaves, counters, sinks, refrigerators, tables, and chairs
• Empty wastebaskets and trash cans
• Use proper cleaning supplies and equipment
• Practice safety at all times
• Order supplies and ship to other locations
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid IN driver’s license (will drive between multiple buildings in Jasper)
• Must be able to work on feet for an extended period of time
• Basic knowledge of chemicals and their uses
• Knowledgeable and familiar with all aspects of custodial service
• Willing to work evenings
• Ability to work independently
• Some computer experience and ability to learn the supply ordering system

Pay

$17–$20/hour based on experience; multiple opportunities for pay increase within the first year.

Schedule

Typical schedule: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST.
