Warehouse Janitorial Associate

About the role

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) has immediate full-time and permanent openings to join our warehouse cleaning team. We help industry leaders across retail, industrial and logistics, healthcare, education, manufacturing, and more maintain clean, efficient, and welcoming spaces that support their operations.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning restrooms, break areas (indoor/outdoor), and office areas
• Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and taking out trash
• Ensuring all aisles are clean and orderly at all times
• Cleaning bags and other items
• Performing some deep cleaning as needed
• Following all safety and quality standards
• Other basic cleaning tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move containers up to 49 pounds
• Walk in and around the facility frequently throughout the shift
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10–12 hours
• Background check and drug test required
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and chemical handling sheets/documents (generally in English; may be in Spanish where required by state)
• Coordination dexterity: eye/hand, feet (pedals), manual (chopping, pinching, holding, gripping), and wrist movement (repetitive flexing/rotating)

Schedule

Days and nights vary, including weekends.

• FHD: 7am–6pm (Sun–Wed and Wed–Sat)
• BHD: 8am–7pm (Sun–Wed and Wed–Sat)
• FHN: 7pm–6am (Sun–Wed or Wed–Sat)
• BHN: 8pm–7am (Sun–Wed or Wed–Sat)

Pay

$15.50 per hour. Employees receive a $0.50 increase after the first 90 days and another $0.30 increase after completing 180 days (availability varies by location; check if available for you).

Additional information

KBS uses the KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software to accurately record employee work hours, manage attendance, complete required training, and distribute important job information. All non-exempt employees must download and use the KBSPresence app on their personal mobile devices to clock in and out of shifts and breaks. Reimbursement for cell phone use is offered in accordance with applicable local law.
