Warehouse Inventory Manager

About the role

The Warehouse Inventory Manager position is available in Orlando, FL for Ryder's Supply Chain Solutions division. This role reports to the Senior Logistics Manager and oversees the tracking of incoming and finished goods materials, packaging supplies, and other warehousing and distribution needs.

Responsibilities

• Tracks day-to-day facility inventory costs and supports KPIs to meet/exceed goals.
• Maintains daily reports measuring KPIs.
• Develops and manages cycle count programs and inventory recoup/repack/return/recycle processes.
• Supports Operations Supervisors and hourly associates with inventory issues and provides office support to I/O Coordinators and receiving/shipping personnel.
• Facilitates and executes the hold process for local sites.
• Facilitates performance evaluations of direct reports.
• Ensures effective daily communications and shift meetings.
• Promotes positive customer relationships.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in logistics, supply chain, or related field.
• Three (3) years or more manufacturing/production/distribution inventory experience required.
• Two (2) years or more supervisory experience required.
• Three (3) years or more PC Inventory and accounting skills required.
• Intermediate computer skills required.
• Exposure to Lean principles, systems, and tools preferred.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) intermediate preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA required intermediate required.
• DOT and Hazmat knowledge may be required based on the account.
• APICS certified intermediate preferred.

Qualifications
