Warehouse/Inventory Control Clerk - 6 AM - 2:30 PM

12-month contract position located in Four Oaks, North Carolina.

About the role

The Inventory Control Clerk will be responsible for inventory-related functions to maintain accurate records of raw materials and finished goods. The position supports Manufacturing and Quality departments by ensuring precise documentation of all transactions involving raw material and finished good movements, and by conducting periodic cycle counts to verify system integrity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing material transactions, including receiving, shipping, transferring, and counting of raw materials and finished goods.
• Generate reports from the ERP system as needed.
• Reconcile discrepancies between perpetual inventory records and actual physical counts of materials.
• Conduct periodic cycle counts as directed by management to ensure system integrity.
• Assist in investigating anomalies found during daily activities or cycle counts.
• Coordinate the destruction of obsolete, excess, or otherwise unusable materials as directed by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous work experience with Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong math skills.
• Forklift experience required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read and write English language documentation.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes preferred.

Pay

$18.00 per hour.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
