About the role

The Warehouse / Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring materials are stored, tracked, and handled according to company standards. This position provides day-to-day leadership for inventory control activities, supports material handlers, coordinates cycle counts and audits, and helps keep warehouse areas audit-ready while promoting a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, audits, and inventory reconciliations.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, and SAP transaction issues.
  • Support receiving, storage, shipping, and material movement activities.
  • Ensure FIFO practices, material rotation, and proper storage requirements are followed.
  • Utilize SAP, RF scanners, and warehouse reporting tools to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Train and support team members on inventory control processes and warehouse best practices.
  • Maintain audit-ready conditions in warehouse storage areas and support quality and food safety programs.
  • Promote a safe workplace by following all safety, food safety, and equipment operating procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1–2 years of inventory control, cycle counting, warehouse, or auditing experience.
  • Experience using SAP or similar inventory management systems.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
  • Lead by example and work well with a team.

Pay

The hiring range for this position is $22.62 - $26.00 per hour. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.

Schedule

Shift hours 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM Monday-Friday, with overtime available on Saturday.
