Warehouse Inventory Clerk Hiring Immediately

About the role

Ryder is hiring Inventory Clerks/Problem Solvers in Port Deposit, Maryland. The position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career path that supports continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits
• Conduct audits of inbound and outbound shipments
• Participate in physical inventories as necessary
• Provide floor support to Operation Supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues
• Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety
• Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience
• Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
• Manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions and work assignments
• Recognize and read location, date, and product codes
• Work independently and as a member of a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, division and multiplication) (beginner level)

Qualifications

• Dependent on location, may be required to be equipment certified
• Safety-sensitive position, non-regulated tech - dependent on location, may be required to operate and be equipment certified

Pay

• Hourly Pay: $21.50 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $32.25 per hour

Schedule

• First Shift: Thursday-Saturday 6:00 am - 6:00 pm, every other Wednesday 6:00 am - 6:00 pm
