Warehouse / Inventory

About the Role

Your mission is to safely and accurately stack and store tire inventory, processing incoming orders from vendors and outgoing orders for customers.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, check, and store tires
• Fill requisitions and orders, preparing inventory for delivery
• Assist with loading/unloading of orders
• Safely operate forklifts, squeeze lifts, and order pickers
• Maintain a clean warehouse
• Protect company assets (inventory, receivables, equipment, and real estate)
• Embrace Purcell’s culture of safety and perform all jobs in a safe manner
• Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols
• Regular attendance per the assigned schedule
• Perform physical requirements as listed in the job description
• Other essential and non-essential duties, as assigned by management

Requirements

• Ability to pass a pre-employment background and drug screen*
• Ability to obtain forklift certification
• Ability to lift, pull, or push heavy objects

Drug Testing: Purcell Tire tests for the presence of THC in all drug screenings for this position, due to the safety-sensitive nature of the job and the potential for injury or death when a tire is installed improperly or a safety-related mechanical issue is not properly conveyed to a customer. It is a bona fide occupational qualification for service technicians to be unimpaired, so the Company will continue testing for THC and other drugs under the safety-sensitive exceptions allowed by your state.
