Warehouse Inventory Associate (4am start)

About the Role

The Inventory Associate is responsible for all activities relating to inventory management and control in our main distribution center. This hands-on position involves special inventory projects and collaboration with the Inventory Supervisor and team to minimize material "can't finds" and ensure inventory accuracy and integrity.

Must have demonstrated experience safely operating a stand-up reach forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform inventory cycle counts
• Execute special inventory projects
• Work directly with the Inventory Supervisor and team to maintain inventory accuracy

Requirements

• Ability to use NEFCO’s ERP software system
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, or Outlook (a plus)
• Basic computer skills
• Positive, hard-working attitude
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and require little supervision
• Ability to multitask
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to stand on a concrete floor for long periods of time
• Ability to work in various climate conditions (cold, heat, humidity) for extended periods
• Ability to crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl, and twist for lifting
• Ability to safely lift up to 50+ lbs
• Ability to review and interpret computer images and written documents
• Analytical ability, including basic math skills
• High school diploma (or equivalent)

Schedule

Monday – Friday, typically 40 hours per week. This is a non-exempt position, eligible for overtime.
