About the Role

The primary focus of the Warehouse II role is movement of product within the warehouse. This position also serves as a back-up delivery driver for non-CDL trucks. It is a general labor role involving prioritizing and picking product to fill orders, and physically moving and lifting product weighing as much as 150 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in administrative tasks, such as handling and preparation of paperwork, and daily closing of the warehouse.
  • Verify all incoming and outgoing products for accuracy in amount, size, and type; report inventory and supply shortages; assist in periodic inventory counts.
  • Compile and submit regular reports on damaged, outdated stock, over/under shipments, and product returns to vendors; segregate defective product from inventory flow.
  • Prioritize and pick material to fill orders and stage product for loading.
  • Organize warehouse stock by product line and physical alignment, allowing space for overflow.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, lifting products up to approximately 50 pounds; handle tires (e.g., rolling, destacking, team lifting) over 50 pounds.
  • Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers) safely and maintain required operator licenses.
  • Perform periodic facilities maintenance and custodial tasks, such as cleaning the parking lot, loading dock, and surrounding areas; maintain clear floors and assist in daily warehouse closing.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of related experience preferred.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must lift products up to approximately 50 pounds; handle tires (e.g., rolling, destacking, team lifting) over 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Exposure to weather conditions and moderate noise levels in the work environment.
  • Travel required: 5% of the time.

Pay

$18.00/hour
