About the Role

The Warehouse II position focuses on the movement of product within the warehouse and serves as a back-up delivery driver for non-CDL trucks. This general labor role involves prioritizing and picking products to fill orders, physically moving and lifting items weighing up to 150 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in administrative tasks, such as handling and preparing paperwork, and daily warehouse closing.
  • Verify incoming and outgoing products for accuracy in amount, size, and type; report inventory shortages and assist in periodic inventory counts.
  • Compile and submit reports on damaged, outdated, or mis-shipped stock, returns to vendors, and segregate defective products.
  • Prioritize and pick materials to fill orders, stage products for loading, and organize warehouse stock by product line and physical alignment.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, lifting products up to 50 pounds; handle tires (e.g., rolling, destacking, team lifting) over 50 pounds.
  • Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers) safely and maintain required operator licenses.
  • Perform facilities maintenance and custodial tasks, including cleaning the parking lot, loading dock, and maintaining restrooms.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of related experience preferred.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

This role involves occasional standing, walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The employee must lift products up to 50 pounds and handle tires (e.g., rolling, destacking, team lifting) over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.

The work environment exposes employees to prevalent weather conditions, with moderate noise levels. Travel is required up to 5% of the time.

Pay

$18.00/hour
