Warehouse General Labor

About the role

Gulf Coast Flooring is hiring a full-time warehouse hand for our Houston warehouse. This is hands-on work: moving and staging material, keeping the warehouse organized, running the forklift, and handling pickups and deliveries. You will be on your feet, you will lift, and you will drive. This is a steady, permanent position, not a temporary project.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move and stage flooring material and inventory
• Operate a forklift safely and daily
• Run pickups and deliveries to job sites and suppliers
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized and safe to work in
• Follow safety procedures and direction from the warehouse supervisor

Requirements

• A valid driver's license
• Your own reliable transportation to and from work
• Forklift experience. You should already be comfortable running one.
• The ability to lift 50 pounds or more, repeatedly, through a full shift
• Dependability. Showing up on time, every scheduled day, is the job.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, either 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some Saturdays.

Pay

$15.00 per hour
