Ryder is hiring Kitters and Warehouse Associates in Spring Hill, Tennessee. The positions offer weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career path that supports personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Pack, kit, and assemble orders and materials.
  • Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers.
  • Ensure all scanning is completed correctly.
  • Help train dock employees on new procedures.
  • Ensure the facility is secure at the end of each shift; investigate and resolve scanning issues and housekeeping concerns.
  • Perform picking and packing duties.
  • Check for evidence of product or container damage.
  • Perform the assigned tasks as described in the location’s policies and procedures.
  • Participate in workgroup and other team activities for the purpose of self-improvement and improving warehouse operations and related business functions.
  • Perform housekeeping duties for assigned area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Six months of related warehouse experience.
  • One (1) year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
  • Intermediate ability to operate and maintain powered industrial trucks, such as stand-up and sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, etc., including changing batteries and recognizing common mechanical issues.
  • Intermediate ability to operate and maintain manual and/or automated warehouse/manufacturing equipment (such as a packaging line).

Qualifications

  • Intermediate ability to operate and maintain powered industrial trucks, such as stand-up and sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, etc., including changing batteries and recognizing common mechanical issues.
  • Intermediate ability to operate and maintain manual and/or automated warehouse/manufacturing equipment (such as a packaging line).

Pay

  • Hourly Pay: $20.33 per hour.
  • Overtime Pay: $30.50 per hour.
  • Additional Pay: $1.25 per hour when assigned to second shift.

Schedule

  • 2nd Shift Monday - Friday 4:00 pm - 12:30 am.
