About the role
Ryder is hiring Kitters and Warehouse Associates in Spring Hill, Tennessee. The positions offer weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career path that supports personal and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Pack, kit, and assemble orders and materials.
- Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers.
- Ensure all scanning is completed correctly.
- Help train dock employees on new procedures.
- Ensure the facility is secure at the end of each shift; investigate and resolve scanning issues and housekeeping concerns.
- Perform picking and packing duties.
- Check for evidence of product or container damage.
- Perform the assigned tasks as described in the location’s policies and procedures.
- Participate in workgroup and other team activities for the purpose of self-improvement and improving warehouse operations and related business functions.
- Perform housekeeping duties for assigned area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Six months of related warehouse experience.
- One (1) year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
- Intermediate ability to operate and maintain powered industrial trucks, such as stand-up and sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, etc., including changing batteries and recognizing common mechanical issues.
- Intermediate ability to operate and maintain manual and/or automated warehouse/manufacturing equipment (such as a packaging line).
Qualifications

Pay
- Hourly Pay: $20.33 per hour.
- Overtime Pay: $30.50 per hour.
- Additional Pay: $1.25 per hour when assigned to second shift.
Schedule
- 2nd Shift Monday - Friday 4:00 pm - 12:30 am.
