About the role
The Warehouse & FTZ Manager leads inventory control and Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) operations for TaylorMade’s North American Distribution Center, ensuring inventory record accuracy, transaction integrity, and full compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of inventory control personnel, assigning and prioritizing work to ensure timely and accurate completion of inventory tasks.
- Oversee all inventory receipts, transfers, movements, adjustments, and system transactions within the ERP and WMS systems.
- Manage the cycle count program in a perpetual inventory environment to maintain high inventory record accuracy.
- Avoid inaccuracies in product inventory across all physical and virtual locations.
- Maintain high standards of inventory security, integrity, and product value within all systems.
- Cook up and continuously improve inventory control procedures, controls, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) requirements and applicable U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations related to inventory control, transaction traceability, and record accuracy.
- Oversee FTZ-related inventory activity, including receipts, transfers, adjustments, and removals, ensuring transactions are accurately recorded, properly documented, and timely reported.
- Maintain, monitor, and safeguard required records for all inventory transactions, including documentation and reporting in accordance with FTZ, audit, customs, and company record-retention requirements.
- Partner with Compliance, Finance, Operations, and IT teams to support audits, reviews, and regulatory inquiries.
- Provide oversight of inventory variances identified through cycle counts, physical inventories, audits, or system discrepancies.
- Investigate, document, and resolve inventory variances, including root cause analysis and corrective action development.
- Analyze variance trends, implement corrective and preventative controls, and escalate material or recurring issues to senior leadership as appropriate.
- Prepare and report inventory, variance, and compliance-related information to upper management.
- Train, develop, and engage team members on inventory procedures, compliance requirements, transaction accuracy, and variance resolution.
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
Requirements

- Strong written and verbal communication skills necessary to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Proven experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); ViaWare strongly preferred.
- Proficient in Oracle EBS.
- Working knowledge of FTZ compliance and CBP requirements.
- Experience with Business Objects and DOMO reporting tools preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Project).
Education, Work Experience, And Professional Certifications
- College diploma or equivalent required.
- 5-7 years of experience in inventory control.
- 5-7 years of experience with WMS systems.
- Previous supervisory experience required.
- Knowledge of FTZ requirements.
- Preferred: APICS CPIM/CSCP, FTZ/Customs compliance certification.
