Warehouse Forklift Operator - Day Shift

About the Role

Warehouse associates operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, to ensure efficient and safe movement of products within the distribution center. They locate, store, replenish, and inventory items while adhering to safety, GMP, and quality standards. The position involves working in multi-temperature environments such as coolers and freezers.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to transport freight and stock items accurately.
• Locate storage slots, set pallets, and perform count checks on incoming freight.
• Replenish pick slots, rotate stock, and manage outdated or excess inventory.
• Inspect pallets, remove damaged items, and ensure proper storage.
• Follow safety protocols, conduct equipment checks, and wear all protective gear.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards, perform quality inspections, and complete documentation.
• Perform general housekeeping and equipment maintenance tasks.
• Assist with other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6+ months warehouse/distribution experience.
• 6+ months stand-up forklift operation experience.
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments and lift 10-90 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and perform repetitive motions.
• Pass drug test and background check.
