Warehouse/Forklift Operator/Back up Color Specialist

About the role

Hood Distribution is seeking a Warehouse/Forklift Operator/Back‑up Color Specialist for its Memphis, TN facility. The position supports warehouse operations, operates propane forklifts, and serves as a training backup for the Color Mix Specialist. Customers include cabinet shops, millwork houses, retail lumber yards, and similar businesses.

Requirements

• Experience in warehouse operations and distribution
• Proficiency operating propane forklifts (forklift certification preferred)
• Knowledge of lumber and/or plywood (a plus)
• Experience tinting and matching paints and stain colors (a plus)
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Capability to load and unload trailers
• Good math and customer service skills
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Schedule

The Memphis facility operates Monday through Friday only.
