Warehouse Forklift Operator

About the role

Ryder is hiring a Temp-to-Perm Material Handler in Tracy, California. This position offers weekly pay and a career path that focuses on safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Auditing, staging, and loading/unloading of products and trucks
• Handling day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to work within a diverse work environment
• Punctuality and good attendance record
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices

• Experience in a similar role preferred

Pay

$23.00 per hour, with potential for additional pay for second shift and weekend hours.

Schedule

• Multiple schedules available
• Shifts typically run from 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM, 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM, and 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM
