Warehouse Forklift Operator 1st Shift

About the role

Ryder is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Alpharetta, GA. This position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound products such as bolts, cables, reels, wires, and anchors.
• Operate sit-down forklifts.
• Enter orders into a WMS System.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Perform cycle counting and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Able to work within a diverse work environment.
• Able to lift and/or push/pull up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Able to work using health and safety methods.
• Available to work on a flexible schedule on the various work shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Using scanners.
• Creating and maintaining professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).
• Working independently with minimal supervision.
• Having a high degree of accuracy, even under pressure.
• Being detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
• Having a valid Driver's License and meeting Ryder's driving qualifications.

Pay

• $17.39 per hour.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm.
