About the role

Ryder is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Louisville, KY. This position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound products such as bolts, cables, reels, wires, and anchors.
  • Operate sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Work in a clean, organized, and well-run facility to ensure the safest supply chain environment.
  • Handle products in a warehouse setting.
  • Load, pick, pack, ship, receive, and unload trucks.
  • Deal with day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment.
  • Support the automated packing system during peak production hours.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
  • A valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
  • Strong technical aptitude, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and scanner usage.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Ability to work within a diverse work environment.
  • Punctuality and good attendance record.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules on various shifts.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.

Qualifications

Pay

$18.97 per hour.

Schedule

First Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
