About the role
Ryder is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Louisville, KY. This position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Manage inbound products such as bolts, cables, reels, wires, and anchors.
- Operate sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Work in a clean, organized, and well-run facility to ensure the safest supply chain environment.
- Handle products in a warehouse setting.
- Load, pick, pack, ship, receive, and unload trucks.
- Deal with day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment.
- Support the automated packing system during peak production hours.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
- A valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
- Strong technical aptitude, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and scanner usage.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Ability to work within a diverse work environment.
- Punctuality and good attendance record.
- Ability to work flexible schedules on various shifts.
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
Qualifications

Pay
$18.97 per hour.
Schedule
First Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
