Warehouse Forklift Operator 1st Shift

About the role

Ryder is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Orlando, FL. This position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career path that prioritizes safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound products such as bolts, cables, reels, wires, and anchors.
• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Enter orders into a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Use Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment.
• Support the automated packing system during peak production hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to work within a diverse work environment.
• Punctuality and good attendance record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Available to work on a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong technical aptitude, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Available to work on a flexible schedule.

Pay

$17.39 per hour.

Schedule

First Shift: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm.
