Pay
- Base pay: $23.00 per hour
- $0.50 increase after 6 months and 1 year
- Overtime Pay: $34.50 per hour
- Productivity Incentives: Eligible to earn up to an extra $10/hr
- Monthly attendance bonuses
- Sign-on bonus: $1,000 bonus paid in four installments at 30, 60, 90, 180 days

Schedule
- Flexible options on Day shift:
- Sun-Wed 4:30am - 4:00 pm or
- Sun-Wed 5:30am - 5:00 pm
- 44-55 hours per week
- 11 hour shift
- 2 month schedule given in advance for family planning

About the role
Ryder Warehouse Associates work in clean, organized, and well-run facilities to provide the safest supply chain environment. Products being handled include yogurt. Equipment used includes stand-up forklifts. Various warehouse fulfillment specialist roles at Ryder support distribution across the US.
Responsibilities
- Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
- Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
- Accurately pick and pack, audit, tote induction, stage products, and load and unload trucks
- Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
- Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during core shift hours
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
- Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to be a team player and work within a diverse work environment
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
- Able to work within a diverse work environment
- Highly thorough and dependable
- Must be punctual and have a good attendance record
- Performs work independently with minimal supervision
- Possesses a high degree of initiative
- Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure
- Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time

- Must be available to work on a flexible schedule on various work shifts
