Schedule

Days and nights vary, including weekends. Shifts available Wednesday through Saturday.

Pay

Starting pay: $15.80 per hour. Progressive Pay is available at select locations, offering a $0.50 increase after the first 90 days and an additional $0.30 increase after 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform spot removal, extraction, bonnet cleaning, strip/wax, scrub/recoat, seal/grout, and other floor care tasks as assigned.
• Scrub, shine, clean, and repair carpeted and non-carpeted areas using appropriate equipment and chemicals.
• Clean floors and stairways by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Move large furniture and objects safely, following guidelines to prevent injury.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized janitor closet.
• Prepare chemicals and use equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
• Ensure building doors and windows are secure and locked.
• Report needed repairs, safety hazards, or conditions requiring additional service to the Supervisor.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds.
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing 15 to 25 pounds.
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
• Full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists.
• Ability to climb ladders and gangways safely.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals, and chemical safety sheets (available in English and Spanish where required).
• Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, foot pedals, manual tasks (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation).
• Use of the KBSPresence mobile app for timekeeping, attendance, training, and employment-related information on a personal mobile device. Cell phone reimbursement provided in accordance with local laws.

One year of prior floor care experience is preferred but not required.
