Job Description

The job involves various tasks such as identifying compliant and non-compliant freight, using technology, capturing pictures of damage, and operating material handling equipment. Specific duties include:

• Identify compliant and non-compliant freight compared to standard supplied
• Capture pictures of damage, shifted load, and paperwork with tablet
• Move pallets and cases to stage for photo capture of non-compliant loads
• Operate various types of material handling equipment
• Sort, repack, and label freight
• Assist fellow IA’s during the unloading process
• Operate warehouse machinery in accordance with customer standard operating procedures
• Maintain work area in a clean and hazard-free condition

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• 6 months warehouse experience (preferred but willing to train)
• Ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment – continuously lifting and moving up to 50lbs
• Warehouse material handling equipment certification preferred
• Meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards
• Excellent customer service required
• Ability to work in various climate conditions
• Reliable transportation with the ability to arrive on time
• Standing/climbing 8 to 10 hours per day
• Effective communication skills
• Safety shoes are required
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Pay

The pay range for this role is $15.00 per hour.
