Warehouse Employee - Sr. Checker 8:00am-4:30pm

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Work from shipping orders, manuals, specifications, schedules and both verbal and written instructions.
• Identify, locate and select products for proper storage.
• Remove products from containers/skids from designated areas throughout the plant to fill orders then transport for further processing.
• Record data (i.e., quantity, shortages, errors, damaged parts) to align with inventory.
• Handle crates, skids and packing material to insure products are not damaged during shipment.
• Seal crates, boxes, affix labels and mark boxes with required shipping information.
• Identify, count or weigh a variety of materials, supplies, containers, parts and components.
• Obtain and maintain knowledge necessary to handle similar and related transactions under the new systems as new software is implemented, i.e., ADSI, JDE, DSI.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Have passed the comprehension tests as determined by the Company.
• Ability to operate, and stand up/sit down a fork truck.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and other material handling equipment.
• Ability to use a computer and web based software.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow verbal/written work instructions.
• Ability to perform work safely and follow safety policies/rules and regulations.
