Warehouse DRIVER/Warehouse Associate Forklift Experience Needed

Our distribution facility in Cranston, RI has an immediate need for a Warehouse Driver/Warehouse Associate. This is an immediate opening, with the opportunity to start as soon as next week. Join a growing, family-owned company with over 68 years of history.

Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Driver, you will:

• Drive a company vehicle in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner.
• Physically load the company truck at the branch and verify the condition of the truck, manifest, and other paperwork associated with deliveries.
• Drive to delivery destinations, confirm orders with customers, unload and verify products, and obtain confirmation signatures.
• Make proper notations on the manifest and provide receipts for returned parts.
• Pick up purchase orders.
• Perform duties of a Warehouse Associate when not driving.
• Comply with established company policies and procedures.
• Adhere to DOT procedures, including maintaining driver logs and an unexpired medical card.

As a Warehouse Associate, you will:

• Load and unload trucks accurately, safely, and in a timely manner.
• Receive and sort items according to protocol.
• Pack and ship items according to protocol.
• Maintain inventory controls and count physical inventory.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
• Wear proper safety equipment and follow OSHA protocol.
• Properly use hand trucks, 4-wheel dollies, forklifts, and pallet jacks.

Requirements

• Six months+ of delivery driving and warehouse experience.
• Excellent driving record.
• Proper licensing preferred.
