The Delivery Driver Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting branch operations through inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving activities, and customer deliveries. This role ensures products are accurately identified, organized, loaded, transported, and delivered while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer service. Job Responsibilities Accurately identify products and learn company product lines to support warehouse and delivery operations. Receive incoming shipments and compare products received against packing slips to verify accuracy. Document and report discrepancies in received shipments and submit packing slips to Order Processing in a timely manner. Organize, assemble, and maintain daily delivery runs. Log deliveries accurately in the delivery tracking system. Stock products using First In, First Out (FIFO) inventory practices. Pull products based on delivery tickets and verify order accuracy before shipment. Process UPS, parcel, and motor freight shipments. Load products into company vehicles and transport products to customer locations safely and efficiently. Unload products at customer locations while providing professional customer service. Obtain customer signatures on delivery documentation and ensure completed paperwork is returned to Order Processing. Inspect products and deliveries for accuracy prior to shipment. Maintain delivery records and supporting documentation. Assist Branch Managers and Operations Managers with warehouse and operational activities as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum of two years of driving experience required. Previous warehouse, delivery, logistics, shipping and receiving, or industrial distribution experience preferred. Skills And Qualifications Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic calculations. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to identify products and maintain inventory accuracy. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong customer service and communication skills. Commitment to workplace safety and safe driving practices. Dependable work ethic and strong attendance record. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment. Driver Eligibility Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a minimum of two years of driving experience. No more than two moving violations within the past 18 months. No more than three moving violations within the past 36 months. No more than one at fault accident without bodily injury and one moving violation within the past three years. No more than one at fault accident involving bodily injury within the past three years. Must maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record in accordance with company standards. Physical Demands Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull products weighing up to 70 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the workday. Ability to sit while driving company vehicles and operating office equipment as needed. Ability to stock products from ground level to shelving heights of up to six feet. Ability to load products into delivery vehicles with bed heights of approximately three to four feet. Ability to climb stairs while carrying products and materials. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday. Ability to work in warehouse, branch, customer site, and outdoor environments.
