Warehouse Driver - Local

Safety and Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles for inter-site or customer deliveries.
• Load and unload materials using forklift, lift gates, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle logs.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Ensure all items are secured for safe transport.
• Follow delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely service.
• Report any delays or traffic issues to the supervisor as soon as safe to do so, to advise customers and to avoid anyone else using the same route.
• Provide professional and courteous service at all delivery points.

Qualifications and Skills

• Valid driver’s license.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass drug screening.
• Previous driving or delivery experience preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse and loading operations.
• Ability to use mobile delivery and tracking systems.

Physical & Work Environment

• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly;
• push/pull heavy loads with equipment;
• climb in and out of delivery vehicles multiple times per shift;
• work outdoors and in varying weather conditions;
• drive and sit for extended periods with intermittent physical tasks.
