Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company vehicles and forklifts to load, transport, and unload materials; conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery and inventory logs.
  • Receive and inspect shipments for damage, process orders according to established procedures, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including wood/metal saws, drills, and grinders, to assist with project needs.
  • Keep all tools, equipment, and vehicles on an established maintenance schedule to ensure they remain in safe, working order.
  • Work effectively in field settings, often in adverse weather conditions, to meet project deadlines and support the broader construction team.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety regulations and upholding the Company’s commitment to core values and ethical conduct.
  • Communicate professionally with project teams and provide manual labor support for "all other duties as assigned" to ensure project success.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong general mechanical skills.
  • Ability to perform very heavy work -- routinely lifts 25-75 lbs., occasionally lift 76 lbs. to greater than 100 lbs.
  • Ability to perform work during prolonged standing up to 8 hours; frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, grasping, feeling, and repetitive motion also required.
  • Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Able to work overtime, if necessary.
  • Able to learn, recall, and apply work procedures and rules relevant to job functions.
  • Able to anticipate, evaluate, and consider the consequences of various actions when required to make on-the-job decisions without benefit of supervision.
  • Able to identify and use common shop tools, instruments, and machines.
  • Able to work in a team environment that requires cooperation with others, offering help when needed, and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Training on site personnel on and implementing safety measures in the field.
