About the role

The Warehouse Operator / Delivery Driver role at Reece & Fortiline is vital to ensuring the safety and reliability of essential services. This position involves working cooperatively in a team environment to manage the efficient receipt, verification, staging, and stocking of incoming materials. Drivers must also ensure accurate customer deliveries and operate vehicles safely in various conditions.

Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively in a team within the warehouse to efficiently receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material in order to maintain inventory standards.
• Verify all loads to ensure accurate customer deliveries.
• Properly load and unload materials from the truck, maintaining inventory control.
• Operate the appropriate class of vehicle necessary for the assignment.
• Drive in various conditions, including urban and construction settings.
• Deliver high quality customer service and professionalism.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license for the assigned vehicle class.
• Class C – Anything 26,000 lbs or less combined gross weight.
• Class B – Box truck with a combined vehicle weight of 26,001 lbs or more.
• Have and maintain a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Forklift certification.
• Skills and knowledge to advance into leadership, CDL driver, or sales opportunities.
• Physical demands include bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting up to 75 pounds, and working indoors/outdoors as required.

Pay

The pay range for this role is $16.90 - $21.85 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
