About the role

This position reports to the Warehouse and Inventory Manager within the Warehouse department. It is classified as overtime eligible.

Responsibilities

  • Provide correct materials and postal supplies to inserters.
  • Move printed and completed jobs to designated areas.
  • Maintain inserters running and keep the floor and warehouse organized and clean.
  • Move printed rolls to inserters following shift lead or manager directions.
  • Answer inserter operators’ requests and supply them with appropriate materials including OE, BREs, Inserts, Pallets, Trays, Sleeves, and any other item needed.
  • Move completed jobs to designated locations and remove materials or supplies not needed from inserters.
  • Remove and replace full hampers of garbage, cardboard, and paper waste.
  • Assure machines do not lack needed and required materials or supplies.
  • Drive the van to the USPS for pick-ups and deliveries when scheduled or needed.
  • Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, manual and electric pallet jacks, to transport goods safely.
  • Perform system transactions for the receipt, storage, and movement of inventory using ERP systems, RF scan guns, and desktop computers.
  • Perform inventory cycle counts when needed and accurately process all returned inventory items.
  • Load and unload trucks safely.
  • Communicate any missing or low materials to the manager to avoid production delays.
  • Assist with shredding or secure disposal of paper waste as required.
  • Support other departments as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Comply with all current and future safety, security, and compliance policies and procedures.
  • Complete basic employee functions in ADP such as clocking in/out, requesting PTO, and responding to emails.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Valid driver’s license with 3 years of driving experience.
  • Must meet all state/federal employment eligibility requirements.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand/move for extended periods.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is a plus.
  • Experience with or willingness to learn ERP systems and RF scanning tools.
  • Must be able to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Frequent lifting/carrying objects weighing up to 25 lbs, less frequently up to 50 lbs, and occasionally more with assistance.
  • Position requires bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, climbing, and carrying.
