Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver parts and inventory to Service Technicians at the work site.
- Pick up parts from suppliers or the work site.
- Review and update documentation related to parts pick-up and delivery.
- Pick and prepare parts for delivery.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Pickle and maintain vehicle, adding fluids and oil as needed.
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Plan driving routes to ensure the most economical use of time and equipment.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Desired Skills, Certifications, and Education
- A High School Diploma/GED
- 2 years of warehouse delivery experience.
- Parts experience in HVAC/R or a similar industry is a big plus.
- Must be 21 or older.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must pay attention to detail and be organized.
- Ability to drive in various road conditions safely.
- Computer knowledge must include MS Office- Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Be an honest team player, growth-oriented, able to do whatever it takes, safely!
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- Noise level is usually moderate.
- All employees may be required to visit a customer site and/or complete a ride-along with a field technician as part of their employment.
