Warehouse Driver

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Handle the dispatch process from initial service call to completion:
2. Take incoming customer calls and schedule/coordinate all service calls as they are received
3. Dispatch Service Technicians for each call
4. Maintain the daily schedules of Service Technicians
5. Monitor technician's progress while on call and adjust dispatches as necessary
6. Respond to all messages left overnight
7. Document all activity and keep internal partners updated including the Service, Account, and Purchasing Teams, as well as department managers
8. Create dispatch tickets for all service calls
9. Debrief Service Technicians after completion of each call
10. Maintain the dispatch board(s)/schedule
11. Forecast workload for 2 -- 3 days out
12. Maintain "On-Call" schedules for Service Technicians
13. Plan, schedule and manage customer's preventative maintenance and work orders by priority
14. Regularly reviews work order backlog
15. Maintain and update work order network
16. Dispatch and coordinate company driver deliveries and equipment to site or technicians
17. Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Desired Skills, Certifications, and Education

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects
• Strong organizational skills
• Geographical knowledge of service area or map reading skills
• Experience with FM Facility Maintenance
• Knowledge of industry is recommended but not required
• Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision
• High School Diploma/ GED
• 3-5 years of dispatch experience
• Computer knowledge must include: MS Office- Word, Excel and Outlook

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
• Noise level is usually moderate
• All employees may be required to visit a customer site and/or complete a ride along with a field technician as part of their employment
