Warehouse Driver

About the role

As a Warehouse Driver, you will support our Service Technicians and our goals of providing the highest level of customer service to our customers. You'll deliver parts, maintain the warehouse, and perform other related duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts and inventory to Service Technicians at the work site.
• Pick up parts from suppliers or the work site.
• Review and update documentation related to parts pick-up and delivery.
• Pick and prepare parts for delivery.
• Maintain a safe work environment at all times.
• Maintain logs of travel as required according to federal and state regulations.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle, adding fluids and oil as needed.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Plan driving routes to ensure the most economical use of time and equipment.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years of warehouse delivery experience.
• Parts experience in HVAC/R or a similar industry is a plus.
• Must be 21 or older.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive safely in various road conditions.
• Computer knowledge including MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Honest, team-oriented, and growth-focused with a willingness to do what it takes safely.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
• Moderate noise level in the work environment.
• May be required to visit customer sites and/or complete a ride-along with a field technician as part of employment.
