Warehouse Delivery Specialist Feed Mill

InsightFS is headquartered in Jefferson, Wisconsin with 23 branches across the state and upper peninsula of Michigan. The cooperative does business in agronomy, agri-finance, precision agriculture, nutrient management, energy, feed, grain, and turf. InsightFS is part of the GROWMARK System, an agricultural cooperative serving more than 100,000 customers across North America and Ontario, Canada.

Responsibilities

• Performs operational duties, manufactures feeds, delivers products, maintains inventory.
• Responsible for housekeeping and repairs of the facility.
• Responsible for the manufacturing and handling of all feeds, insuring proper sequencing of products to produce the correct feeds.
• Assists with inventory and records of all feeds.
• Maintains proper inventory paperwork at the facility for deliveries and completes physical inventories as required.
• Maintains a record of each batch of feed produced to document a quality manufacturing program.
• Maintains records of all medicated feed additives as required by state law.
• Responsible for keeping the Branch Manager informed of the need for major building and equipment repairs as well as recommendations for annual fixed asset purchases.
• Responsible for location housekeeping.
• Responsible for safe use of tools and equipment and appropriate use of personal protective equipment by all employees at the location and reporting unsafe conditions to the Location Manager.
• Responsible for delivery of products to customers.
• Schedules all major equipment repairs.

Requirements

• Normally requires High School diploma or the equivalent thereof, and 3 years or more of related work experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operation certification and Commercial Driver's License.
• Hazmat & Tanker endorsements and Mixer Loader Pesticide Certified & License are preferred.
• Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making, and skill development.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Normally requires a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

• Continuous exposure or required to: Extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.), Noisy conditions, Working conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures.
