Warehouse & Delivery Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and stock incoming materials according to company standards.
  • Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment or customer pickup.
  • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times.
  • Auxiliary inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy.
  • Prepare materials for transport using proper packing, labeling, and documentation.
  • Drive company vehicles to deliver materials to customers, job sites, or other Lioher Centers.
  • Load and unload products safely to prevent damage.
  • Inspect delivery vehicles daily and report maintenance needs.
  • Plan delivery routes for efficiency and timeliness.
  • Represent the company professionally during all customer interactions.
  • Greet customers and assist with material pickups at the branch.
  • Provide basic product information and direct customers when needed.
  • Cook up with the sales and operations teams to support smooth order processing.
  • Help clients load materials into their vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Auxiliary with showroom or branch maintenance as needed.
  • Help move or prepare materials for events, promotions, or displays.
  • Support the branch team with any additional tasks to ensure operational success.

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to become certified (company can train).
  • Experience in warehouse operations, material handling, or logistics.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and perform physical labor.
  • Strong teamwork skills with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory systems is a plus.
  • Good communication skills and professional customer service.
  • Ability to work safely and follow procedures consistently.

Education & Experience

  • A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or delivery role.
  • Experience with cabinetry, building materials, or manufacturing is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and carry heavy materials for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in warehouse environments with varying temperatures.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment.
