Warehouse DELIVERY DRIVER/Warehouse Associate

Immediate opening in Springfield, MO — start as soon as next week.

About the role

This position combines delivery driving and warehouse duties. When driving, you operate a company vehicle to deliver products to customers, load/unload the truck, verify orders, obtain signatures, and handle returns. When not driving, you perform warehouse associate tasks at the Cranston, RI location.

Responsibilities

• Operate a company vehicle safely and courteously to deliver products to customers.
• Manually load and unload the delivery truck, verifying all parts.
• Obtain signatures from receiving locations and confirm order accuracy.
• Deliver returned items back to the warehouse and make proper notations on manifests.
• Pick up purchase orders from customers.
• Comply with DOT procedures, including maintaining driver logs and an unexpired medical card.
• Load and unload trucks accurately, safely, and timely as a Warehouse Associate.
• Receive, sort, pack, and ship items according to protocol.
• Maintain inventory controls and perform physical inventory counts.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment, following OSHA protocol.
• Use hand trucks, 4-wheel dollies, and pallet jacks properly.
• Follow established company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Six months or more of delivery driving and warehouse experience.
• Excellent driving record.
• Proper licensing is preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and operating warehouse equipment.
