Essential Functions

• Knowledge of construction materials: two (2) years required
• Must possess ability to work outdoors, in the elements
• Must be able to fulfill physical requirements
• Lift/move product up to seventy-five (75) pounds or greater
• Must be able to lift heavy weight with, and without the aid of others
• Customer service skills
• Interact with coworkers and customers in a professional, demanding environment to ensure customer needs are met while building a strong working relationship with a positive attitude

Requirements

• Two (2) years’ experience with High School Diploma/GEDA
• Valid driver’s license
• Acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR)
• Forklift certification
• Experience in material handling
• Experience driving larger sized delivery trucks
• Knowledge of regulations pertaining to the securing of several types of loads onto trucks

Knowledge and Skills

• Ability to wear appropriate work attire (safety helmet, footwear-steel toed shoes, gloves, safety vest)
• Understand the construction process, specifically electrical construction, including materials, parts, tools, and assemblies
• Demonstrate ability to be self-motivated, proactive and perform duties in a professional manner and appearance
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Must be able to pass Federal/State/City Background check

Work Environment: Warehouse setting. Potential visits to outdoor industrial sites with exposure to weather extremes. Potential exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, or other environmental factors.
