About the Role

As a Logistics Specialist (LS) at TireHub, you will load and unload tires for warehouse storage and timely customer delivery, including unloading and staging products at customer locations. You will represent TireHub professionally in all customer interactions, maintain safe driving practices, and deliver exceptional customer service while fostering strong customer relationships.

Pay

This position has a starting wage of $20.50 per hour with guaranteed increases of $2.00 over your first year of employment.

Schedule

Monday through Saturday – fluctuating day shift hours.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, inspect, and tally tires to and from transport vehicles (trailer trucks, box trucks, delivery vans).
• Follow TireHub safety standards for selecting, packing, counting, labeling, and palletizing customer orders using the bin locator system.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks while adhering to safety protocols.
• Participate in cycle counts, tallies, and labeling as part of inventory control procedures.
• Collect payments from customers on Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions.
• Ensure vehicles remain clean and in good mechanical/physical condition.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections daily and report operational issues or mechanical defects.
• Complete driver and vehicle maintenance logs regularly.
• Ensure compliance with all TireHub policies and procedures.
• Participate in ongoing training through in-class, in-person, or computer-based learning modules.
• Complete other tasks assigned by supervisors or leadership.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of general work experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a minimum of 2 years of driving history (does not include driver’s permit).
• Must be 19 years old or older.

Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to repeatedly lift, pull, push, and/or move tires (up to 50 lbs) with or without mechanical assistance.
• Capable of frequent bending, twisting, and lifting.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Accurately and efficiently load, unload, and place tires in warehouse and delivery vehicles.
• Ability to work up to 35 feet above ground level.
• Ability to work up to 8 hours per day on a forklift.
• Follow traffic rules and regulations while safely driving TireHub vehicles.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with Manifest, GPS, and navigation systems.
• Maintain forklift certification and a valid driver’s license.

Working Conditions

• Required to lift, pull, push, and/or move tires (up to 50 lbs or greater with or without mechanical assistance).
• Regularly stand, walk, kneel, bend, crawl, climb, and balance.
• May handle hazardous materials and wear protective equipment (gloves, protective eyewear, etc.).
• Specific vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Work in various settings, including non-climate-controlled warehouses and customer locations.
• Extended day, evening, and weekend work (including Saturday) may be required with little or no advanced notice.
• Driving during the night or in inclement weather may be required.
• Must not exceed 400 pounds in weight or 6 feet 3 inches in height to meet equipment and safety restraint compatibility.
