Responsibilities
- Perform tasks involved in receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment following established procedures and verbal instructions.
- Maintain accuracy of inventory balances and locations to ensure high internal customer satisfaction.
- Examine, count, and sort items; complete necessary paperwork or transactions; and prepare kitting packages for assembly production.
- Check all items received in the stockroom for proper identification and counts, reporting discrepancies to supervisor or lead.
- Fill requests and orders from internal and external customers, ensuring satisfactory service in inventory support.
- Answer inventory questions and provide inventory information to other departments.
- Maintain accuracy in both location and quantity for all items using material lists and inventory control records.
- Maintain stock areas in a neat, clean, and safe working condition.
- Operate forklifts or other material handling devices (requiring on-the-job training).
- Maintain clerical records and computer transactions related to inventory items received, moved, and issued.
- Use computers for data entry, running reports, and cross-checking inventory balances and stock status.
- Assist junior-level Inventory/Stockroom Clerks with challenging issues.
- Conduct daily cycle counts and prepare inventory reports.
- Perform cross-training and work in various capacities, including I-Prep, material handling, and Shipping/Receiving activities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 4 years of relevant experience.
- Some MRP (Material Requirements Planning) knowledge.
Physical Requirements
- Occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and similar structures.
- Occasionally move into different positions, including tight and confined spaces.
- Occasionally remain in a stationary position (standing or sitting) for prolonged periods.
- Constantly move about to accomplish tasks or move between worksites.
- Occasionally adjust or move objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.
- Constantly communicate with others to exchange information.
- Constantly repeat motions involving wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Occasionally operate machinery and/or power tools.
- Constantly operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment.
- Constantly assess the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of assigned work.
- Occasionally work in low or high temperatures.
- Occasional sedentary work (primarily sitting/standing).
- Constant light work (moving objects up to 20 pounds).
- Occasional medium work (moving objects up to 50 pounds).
- Prolonged use of computer monitors.
- Possible chemical exposure to alcohol, nitrogen, Loctite, etc. (personal protective equipment provided and required).

Pay
The salary range for this role is relevant to applicants residing or working in the San Jose, CA area only. Offers will depend on experience, knowledge, skills, education, and location.
