About the role
Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Clerk who wants to be part of a company that makes a difference in patients' lives. This position involves all clerical functions related to warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Complete E-Intake transactions and Service Manager transfers, receiving, and processing activities.
- Monitor inventory transactions to support accurate end-of-month (EOM) inventory reconciliation.
- Participate in monthly physical inventory counts and EOM inventory activities.
- Perform all shipping and receiving functions in accordance with established procedures.
- Accurately and legibly complete production, delivery, and inventory documentation.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures, including participation in hazardous materials handling training.
- Identify, report, and help address equipment hazards, unsafe conditions, and safety concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment in accordance with company policies and applicable local and state regulations.
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of respiratory products, durable medical equipment (DME), and home medical equipment (HME).
- Support quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with JCAHO/accreditation standards.
- Assist with other warehouse, inventory, and operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, required.
- One year general warehouse and inventory management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME) preferred.
- Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position).

Physical Demands

- Ability to lift and repair all types of equipment including but not limited to Hospital Beds, lifts, wheelchairs and other types of Durable Medical and Respiratory Equipment Machines, Equipment And Technical Abilities.
Office Equipment & Technical Abilities
- Email transmission and communication.
- Internet navigation and research.
- Microsoft applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, Power-Point, Publisher, Access, etc.
- Office equipment; fax machine, copier, printer, phone and computer.
