WAREHOUSE CLERK 1ST SHIFT

About the role

This position manages daily inventory functions and supports warehouse operations through SAP system data entry, parts distribution, cycle counting, and material handling.

Responsibilities

• Process paper flow of issues into the SAP system ensuring proper data entry
• Distribute parts for mechanics
• Ensure proper and complete data entry into the SAP system
• Conduct weekly cycle counts and maintain inventory integrity for warehouse
• Analyze out-of-stock or expediting situations to correct inventory balances
• Organize and maintain a clean store room and warehouse
• Participate in Inventory Programs
• Assist Purchasing Manager with special projects, inventory reduction and eliminating dead stock
• Operate fork truck to move materials
• Perform daily checks of critical inventory

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate powered industrial vehicles
• Occasional lifting of boxes up to 80lbs. is required
• Knowledge of all aspects of the current warehouse management system and software system
• Knowledge of inventory processes to include SAP
• High school diploma
• Plus 2 years warehouse experience or equivalent
