This position works out of our Desert Mountain Warehouse Location in Casa Grande, Arizona. Responsibilities
- Ensure that assigned areas are properly cleaned using approved cleaning and sanitizing processes.
- Clean and sanitize the warehouse according to job standards.
- Operate specialized equipment such as floor scrubbers, scissor lifts, etc. to perform functions of the job.
- Prevent cross contamination of product, work-in-progress, food contact surfaces, and food contact packaging during sanitation procedures.
- Follow all company Sanitation SOPs for cleaning the facility.
- Removal of trash/garbage for the facility; mopping as needed, cleaning of floor drains, and any exterior areas requiring attention.
- Complete all required sanitation and work order documentation.
- Maintain all sanitation-related equipment including but not limited to automatic floor scrubbers, vacuums, cleaning equipment, and tools.
- May be asked to work in other areas as needed, if trained.
- Apply high-quality scientific techniques in the microbiological environmental monitoring of the facility.
- Work with fellow specialists with a high degree of motivation, attention to important details, and clear communication to all team members.
- Prioritize tasks to efficiently complete them with the most accurate results and work together in a team environment.
- Documentation, project work, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork.
- Be accountable for meeting compliance standards including FDA, OSHA, and Abbott policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous cleaning experience.
- Science-related associate's degree with at least 1 year of appropriate college lab studies and 1 year of college mathematics plus 1 year of related laboratory experience or 2 years’ experience in a food or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Science-related bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year of appropriate college lab studies and 1 year of college mathematics.

Pay
The hourly rate for this position is $21/hour. The base pay range for this position is $17.15 – $34.25 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
Schedule
This is an 8-hour Day shift position from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with weekends as needed.
