WAREHOUSE CLASS 3 PICKER

Position Summary

Responsible for efficient and accurate picking and staging orders.

Primary Responsibilities

• Add and subtract as needed.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Pick all orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Pay special attention to detail.
• Able to understand and work with RF handhelds.
• Operate electric pallet trucks.
• Help load and unload trucks.
• Cycle count items when indicated.
• Operate RF handheld.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
• Obey all safety regulations at all times.
• Comply with Safe Quality Food (SQF) policies/procedures and requirements for the position.
• Follow GWP’s, sanitation procedures, and quality procedures as set forth by QA and/or supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Necessary Experience

• Minimum 1-year experience picking orders
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience working in a high volume shipping and receiving environment
• Self-discipline and a mature worker willing to be part of a “Team Work”

Experience

• Forklift: 3 years (Required)

Language

• English (Preferred)
• Spanish (Preferred)

Licenses/Certifications

• Forklift Certification (Required)

WORK ENVIROMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Role is performed in a food warehouse environment and require strict adherence to food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards, including use of required PPE.
• Employees may work in areas with variable temperatures, machinery noise.
• The role requires standing or walking for extended periods, performing repetitive tasks, and regularly lifting up to 25–35 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance).
