Warehouse Cargo Handler

Pay

Hourly pay: $14.42 per hour, plus a $0.25 per hour shift differential. Pay is issued weekly.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm.

Location

Orlando, Florida 32808.

Products handled: snack food products. Equipment used: stand‑up forklift and scanner.

Responsibilities

• Perform material moves with associated transactions as required by the customer.
• Work at a continuous fast pace, loading and unloading inbound/outbound trailers.
• Ensure all scanning is completed correctly and resolve scanning issues.
• Help train dock employees on new procedures.
• Secure the facility at the end of the shift and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Complete assignments safely within the allotted time.
• Participate in work‑group and team activities to improve warehouse operations.
• Abide by all company safety policies and procedures.
• Pick products to fill customer orders, pack, crate, and prepare orders for loading.
• Operate a cardboard baler machine, forklift, and manual pallet jack.
• Conduct daily pre‑trip inspections on the forklift.
• Complete required training as scheduled.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of related shipping/receiving or warehouse experience (preferred).
• Forklift certification.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lb unassisted.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to transact system information productively.
• Capability to create and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent multi‑tasking, organization, time‑management, and detail‑oriented follow‑up skills.
• Additional screening may include employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check, road test, and background requirements.
